At VH Stud, we do not believe in genetic accidents. We believe in the power of bloodlines, the precision of selection, and an unyielding respect for the equine athlete. Located in Czechia, Europe, our boutique breeding program is dedicated to a single, uncompromising goal: producing the next generation of world-class sport horses.

The Architecture of Our Showjumping Damlines

A pedigree is only as strong as its maternal foundation. We build our showjumping program on outstanding, proven mares that possess elite genetics, exceptional scope, and the athletic capability required for top-tier international sport:

  • Play Around van de Gordendijk (Gordý) – A powerful cornerstone of our stud, carrying the performance blood of World Champion Vigo d’Arsouilles (via Piece of Cake M) and backed by the rock-solid Dutch genetics of Haarlem (KWPN) and Voltaire.
  • Climax de Léau Z (Max) – An elite Zangersheide mare infusing our breeding program with premium quality, incredible athleticism, and the highly sought-after sharpness indispensable for modern courses.

We combine these powerful maternal foundations with the absolute pinnacle of European sire power. Our current skokové generations feature direct bloodlines of global breeding giants:

  • Ambassador Z – Delivering the explosive scope of Aganix de Seigneur combined with the legendary damline of Ta Belle van Sombeke (via Quasibelle du Seigneur).
  • Jenson van’t Meulenhof – Bringing the elite Grand Prix charisma and performance blood of Vagabond de la Pomme.
  • Dazzle Z – Injecting modern refinement and the prestigious sharpness required for the upper echelons of the sport.

The Dressage Line: Elegance & Movement

While our core is deeply rooted in showjumping, we closely cultivate elite dressage genetics characterized by extraordinary elasticity, cadence, and expression. This branch of our stud is highlighted by the phenomenal Viva Romance PS OLD, a sire representing the pinnacle of modern dressage breeding. We are proud to carry this legacy forward through his exceptional son born at our stable, Viva Aureus VH, embodying the perfect fusion of power, balance, and superb rideability.

From their very first steps in our pastures under the expert eye of lead breeder Markéta Kučerová, our foals receive premium nutrition, optimal movement, and horse-centric handling. We do not mass-produce. We selectively breed a limited number of top-tier foals each year for discerning riders and international breeders who know that greatness starts from the ground up.
